NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) unveiled its fourth regular season poll for NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country, and Rogers State is ranked tied for 23rd, receiving a total of 56 points. RSU is tied with Lee and Mississippi College.
The Hillcats dropped four spots from 19th in the previous week's poll. They will have one final tune-up this weekend before the MIAA Championship at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 11, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The women will run at 8 a.m., followed by the men's race at 8:45 a.m.
In the region, Winona State is ranked 12th, Pittsburg State is 14th, Nebraska-Kearney is tied for 17th, Northwest Missouri State is 21st, Missouri Southern is 22nd, Fort Hays State is 26th and Minnesota State is 27th.
Colorado Mines remains in the top position with 236 points, followed by Grand Valley State with 232 points, West Texas A&M with 228 points and Adams State with 215 points.
