KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) unveiled its 2025-26 Women's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, and the Hillcats were selected to finish 11th.
Rogers State collected 21 points in the poll. The Gorillas were picked to repeat as the MIAA champions this season with 100 points and 10 first-place votes. Pitt State was followed by Northwest Missouri State (88 points) and Washburn (84 points, 1 first-place vote).
RSU will open its indoor season at the Crimson and Gold Invitational on Dec. 5-6 in Pittsburg, Kansas. The meet at the Harvey Dean/Robert W. Plaster Center starts Friday, featuring the 5K races at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. They will begin their competition on Saturday with the mile event scheduled for 1:50 p.m.
