King Promoted To Assistant Athletic Director For Marketing and Ticketing

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Chris Ratcliff announced the elevation of Corrie King to the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Ticketing on Monday.

"I am excited to have Corrie move into this new role," said Dr. Ratcliff. "Since he joined our staff two years ago, he has brought a new and contagious energy to our department, and I have no doubt that our marketing efforts are in good hands. I can't wait to see the ways Corrie shines a light on our department by engaging the Claremore and Rogers County communities and helping to continue to create a world-class collegiate experience for our student-athletes."

In his new role, King will oversee the department's marketing, ticketing and brand management efforts as well as assist with corporate sponsorships.

"Thank you to Dr. Ratcliff for this amazing opportunity, I'm beyond blessed and grateful to extend my stay here on the Hill," said King. "RSU has provided me with the opportunity to further my education, and now they're placing their trust and faith in me to grow their brand and Hillcat Nation as a whole. I'm incredibly excited for this new role and will bring relentless enthusiasm and joy to RSU and Northeastern Oklahoma."

King joined the Hillcats in August of 2023 as the Graduate Assistant for Digital Media and Communications. Over the past two years, he has helped grow RSU's broadcast and social media presence to new heights with an intense investment in short- and long-form video content. He has also played a critical role in increasing the quality of RSU broadcasts on the MIAA Network and was integral in the implementation of the instant replay system for both baseball and softball as part of the MIAA pilot program in those sports.

King came to Claremore after serving one season as a graduate assistant for women's basketball at Winona State in Minnesota.

A native of Brooklyn Center, Minn., King earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in mathematics at Winona State and was a five-year letterman with the Warriors football program. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Rogers State in May of 2025.
