CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) released its 2024-25 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipients on Thursday morning, and 89 Rogers State student-athletes were named to the list.

Spearheaded by 14 recipients from baseball, softball and women's soccer, the Hillcats have set a new program record for the Academic Achievement Awards. This record surpasses the previous high of 71 recipients for the 2023-24 academic year.
Now in its 18th year, the Academic Achievement Awards program celebrates the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. The MIAA is one of the most recognized conferences, boasting 1,316 student-athletes who met the criteria in the 2024-25 academic year.

To qualify for this honor, the student-athlete must have:
- a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work
- have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year

For the first time since inception, there were more than 20,000 student-athletes recognized (22,756) from a record 202 institutions for the 2024-25 Academic Achievement Awards. This year's totals are the highest in the program's history.
