NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its first NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country regular season poll, and Rogers State secured a program-best tie for 16th place, earning 119 points. RSU is tied with Stanislaus State.
The Hillcats climbed two spots from 18th in the USTFCCCA Preseason Poll. They also set a new program record yesterday by ranking third in the NCAA Division II Central Region, trailing behind No. 10 Pittsburg State and No. 13 Minnesota State.
On the women's side, Adams State leads the nation with 240 points following a strong showing at the Joe Vigil Open, where five of their runners finished in the top six. They are followed by West Texas A&M with 232 points and Grand Valley State with 224 points.
In addition to Pittsburg State and RSU, the MIAA boasts three other schools in the top 30:Nebraska-Kearney at 18th, Fort Hays State at 27th and Northwest Missouri State at 30th. For further details, visit
