RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The GAC/MIAA released its Week 4 Men's Soccer weekly awards, and Jaxon Kendall received Goalkeeper of the Week recognition for the second straight week. He claimed the accolade three of the four weeks this season.
  
The Owasso, Oklahoma, native claimed a pair of clean sheets against Harding and Ouachita Baptist – extending his total to six for the season. The junior notched a career-high seven saves against the Bison and added his 25^th save of the season against the Tigers.
  
The No. 11 men's soccer team, boasting a record of 6-0-2 and 2-0 in conference play, is gearing up for a pivotal week. On Thursday at 7 p.m., they will host No. 17 Fort Hays State, which enters the match with a record of 5-0-2 and a 1-0 conference record. Additionally, during halftime, there will be a special recognition for international student-athletes from RSU.
 
The Hillcats will then return home on Saturday for their homecoming game against Newman, who holds a record of 4-1-2 and is also at 1-0 in the conference. Kickoff against the Jets is scheduled for 1 p.m.
