Jaxon Kendall received Goalkeeper of the Week recognition for the second straight week. He claimed the accolade three of the four weeks this season.
The Owasso, Oklahoma, native claimed a pair of clean sheets against Harding and Ouachita Baptist – extending his total to six for the season. The junior notched a career-high seven saves against the Bison and added his 25
th save of the season against the Tigers.
The No. 11 men's soccer team, boasting a record of 6-0-2 and 2-0 in conference play, is gearing up for a pivotal week. On Thursday at 7 p.m., they will host No. 17 Fort Hays State, which enters the match with a record of 5-0-2 and a 1-0 conference record. Additionally, during halftime, there will be a special recognition for international student-athletes from RSU.
The Hillcats will then return home on Saturday for their homecoming game against Newman, who holds a record of 4-1-2 and is also at 1-0 in the conference. Kickoff against the Jets is scheduled for 1 p.m.
