KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) unveiled its academic awards for the 2025-26 men's basketball season, and four Hillcats were honored.
The student-athletes named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll include
Caden Fry,
Andrew Mason,
Aydan Perdue and
Jackson Welch. Additionally, Fry was named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete after earning All-MIAA honors and maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
To qualify for the league's Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher at their institution and must have attended for at least two terms, excluding summer sessions.

These 2025-26 men's basketball academic awards do not include first year student-athletes or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release separate academic awards for its 2025-26 newcomers in June, once the student-athletes have completed at least two terms of attendance at the certifying MIAA member institution.
