INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 9 Rogers State Baseball added another historical milestone to its 2026 resume, as they were ranked a program-best second in this week's NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings.
The Hillcats (37-10) are among six MIAA teams featured in the first numbered, second official regional rankings of the season. Leading the region is No. 5 Pittsburg State, followed by No. 9 Rogers State in second, No. 21 Central Missouri in third, No. 23 Northwest Missouri State in fifth, Missouri Southern in ninth and Emporia State in 10th.
In addition, Arkansas-Monticello from the GAC is ranked eighth, while No. 13 Minnesota State (fourth), Mary (sixth) and Augustana (seventh) from the NSIC also made the list.
The NCAA Central Region Championships are set for May 14-17, followed by the NCAA Division II Super Region Championships from May 21-23. Eight teams advancing from the NCAA Super Regional will compete for the 2026 championship.
The NCAA National Championships are set to take place in Cary, North Carolina, from May 29 to June 6.
