INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Rogers State Softball was tabbed sixth in the latest NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings on Wednesday. RSU holds a record of 28-14 against in-region opponents after yesterday's doubleheader sweep of Harding.
The Hillcats (32-16) are one of six MIAA teams featured in the first numbered NCAA Division II rankings. No. 4 Pittsburgh State leads the region, followed by No. 11 Missouri Southern in second, No. 18 Central Oklahoma in third, Rogers State in sixth, Central Missouri in eighth and Emporia State in 10th.
No. 8 Southern Arkansas (fourth) and Arkansas Tech (ninth) represent the GAC, while No. 21 Winona State (fifth) and St. Cloud State (seventh) come from the NSIC.
The NCAA Central Region Championships are scheduled for May 15-16, with the NCAA Division II Super Region Championships taking place the following week on May 22-23.
The top eight teams from the NCAA Super Regionals will advance to the 2026 NCAA National Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee, set for May 29-30.
