MONKEY ISLAND, Okla.- Hillcat women's golf wrapped up the second round of the 2026 Spring Regional Preview on Monday afternoon in fifth at the par-72 Shangri-La GC.
Despite improving by 10 strokes in round two (294, +6), RSU dropped a spot in the team standings and heads into the final round with a total score of 598 (+22). Arkansas Tech continues to lead with a score of 583 (+7), followed by Central Oklahoma (+16) and Central Missouri (+20).
Junior
Lauren Anderson shot a second-round 73 (+1), with birdies on holes nine, 12 and 18. The Tontitown, Arkansas, native is tied for sixth individually with a two-round score of 146 (+2).
Senior
Brianna Maddux made a significant improvement on Day 2, carding one stroke under par with four birdies. She is tied for 17th place with freshman
Lou Fourdan, who recorded a 74 (+2) in the second round. The duo has recorded a total score of 149 (+5) after 36 holes. Additionally, sophomore
Milena Andres is tied for 29th (+10), while freshman
Clara Ledun (+12) is tied for 43rd heading into the final round.
For the Hillcat individuals, junior
Rylan Ashley is tied for 24th, leading the group with a score of 152 (+8) after shooting a 75 (+3) in the second round. Just a stroke behind her is freshman
Lara Foigel (+9), tied for 27th, who tallied a 76 (+4) this afternoon. Rounding out the individuals are sophomore
Brooklyn Worley (+22) in a tie for 72nd, and
Elle Standlee Daniels (+31) in 87th.
The final round of the 2026 Spring Regional Preview is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. tee time on Tuesday morning.
