Hillcat Women’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

RSU to compete in nine regular season tournaments

 CLAREMORE, Okla. – Fresh off an impressive inaugural season at the helm, MIAA Co-Coach of the Year Lexi Johnson has announced the schedule for the 2026-27 campaign.
 
The Hillcats will compete in nine regular season tournaments, including two at home and one co-hosted tournament.

FALL SEASON
The fall season kicks off on Sept. 14-16 with the NSU Women's Classic at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa. Last year, Johnson earned her first career victory as the Hillcats captured the team title with a two-round score of 589 (+21).
 
On Sept. 21-22, RSU will preview the conference course at the MIAA Conference Preview at Terradyne CC in Andover, Kansas. The following week, they will travel to Kearney, Nebraska, for the Central Region Preview at Meadowlark Hills GC.
 
On Oct. 19-20, the Hillcats will head south to Dade City, Florida, for the St. Leo Invite, held at Lake Javita GC.
 
The fall season will conclude with the Tulsa Cup on Oct. 26-27 at The Club at Forest Ridge. The Hillcats secured a second-place finish in 2025, scoring 892 (+28) over three rounds, thanks to a runner-up performance from Brianna Maddux and an 11th-place finish from Milena Andres.
 
SPRING SEASON
The spring season begins in Cypress, Texas, for the Southern Invite on Feb. 15-16. Last spring, the Hillcats finished fourth with a team score of 908 (+44) in a stacked field.
 
From March 7-9, RSU will travel to the Bailey Ranch Golf Course in Owasso for the 12th Annual Hillcat Classic. The team aims for its seventh consecutive victory at one of their home courses. MIAA Freshman of the Year Lou Fourdan led the team with a second-place finish, tallying a two-round scorecard of 151 (+7).
 
The following week, the Hillcats will head to Destin, Florida, for the Emerald Coast Classic. They will conclude the regular season by co-hosting the Spring Preview with Arkansas Tech and Central Missouri from April 4-6 at Big Creek CC in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
 
Postseason play begins April 12-14 at Terradyne Country Club in Andover, Kansas, for the MIAA Championships. Last season, Andres led the team with a third-place finish, followed by Lauren Anderson, who tied for ninth. The Rogers State women's golf team finished third in the team standings.
 
The NCAA Central Region Championships are scheduled for May 3-5 at Meadowlark Hills Golf Club, followed by the NCAA National Championships from May 11-15 at the Mission Resort and Club in Orlando, Florida. RSU qualified for the NCAA National Championship last spring with a third-place finish at regionals.
