Biography

About: Rice made significant contributions during her freshman season at RSU, averaging 8.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest. She posted two double-doubles and made 12 starts for the Hillcats in 2007-08. Rice was selected for the American Red Cross/NAIA Youth Leadership Program in Washington D.C. over the summer and also spent two weeks in China teaching English. She was an all-state selection as a senior at Pryor High School in 2006-07.
 
Williams on Rice: Katie Rice had a very good freshman season and we are expecting her to
build on that this season. Our team respects her work ethic and hard-nosed approach to the game.
