About: Brown returns to the Hill for her junior campaign in 2015-16. The Henryetta, Oklahoma native was limited as a sophomore with injuries after posting an 89.5 scoring average during her freshman season. She competed in one tournament playing both rounds of the UAM Fall Classic placing 12th overall in the Hillcats' only team title of the season in 2013-14. Brown earned Heartland Conference Academic All-Conference accolades in 2013-14 landing on the Commissioner's Honor Roll. She joined RSU after a decorated career at Henryetta High School where she is the record holder for lowest girl's golf score carding a 76 at Western Hills. Brown placed third as an individual at the Oklahoma Class 3A State Tournament during her senior season. She led her team to the state tournament four-consecutive years finishing second in 2013 after a third-place finish in 2012 and also was a part of the Lady Knights team that collected two regional championships during her sophomore and junior seasons. The daughter of Pam Lawrence and Billy Brown, she said she chose RSU because "it was a great environment and golf program and I wanted the opportunity to lead the team to championships."
