2016: Made 16 appearances with three games started for the Hillcats, finishing with a 5-1 record…Finished his first season on the Hill with a 4.50 ERA in 40 innings pitched allowing 40 hits and striking out 20 batters.
 
Previous: Came to the Hill after spending two seasons at Canada College, where he played under Head Coach Tony Lucca… During his sophomore season, the South San Francisco, California product was a first-team all-conference selection, finishing with a 6-3 record and a 2.70 earned run average… Pitched 94.1 innings and totaled 30 strikeouts in his sophomore campaign in 2015
 
Prep: Prepped at El Camino High School and was named first-team all-league during his senior season, going 6-4 with a 1.90 earned run average, while tallying a .370 batting average for the Colts.
 
Personal: Son of Chris Eclavea and Gina Eclavea… Chose RSU because "it’s the best fit for me academically and athletically."
