2016: Started all 12 appearances in his first season as a Hillcat…Tallied a 4.18 ERA and a 5-5 win-loss record…Second on the team in innings pitched with 64.2…Recorded a team-high 46 strike outs.
 
Previous: Came to the Hill from Seminole State College, where he played two seasons for Head Coach Lloyd Simmons…As a sophomore, the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native appeared in eight games, registering a 2-2 record… Pitched in 25 innings and totaled 30 strikeouts for the Trojans in 2013.
 
Prep: At Newbury Park High School was named Relief Pitcher of the Year and earned the student-athlete award posting a 3-1 record with two saves and a 2.95 earned run average in 23 innings pitched.
 
Personal: Son of Scott Kruse and Lori Kruse-Johnson…Chose RSU because "it just fit what I needed."
