Biography

About: Darden comes to the Hill after spending one season at NCAA Division II power Metro State College. In the 2008-09 season, Darden helped lead Metro State to a 27-4 record and a number eight ranking nationally. As a senior at Northglenn, Darden earned all-conference honors for the Front Range League after finishing second in the state in blocks per game and total blocks. Darden said he chose RSU because “of the academic programs and the coaching staff.”

Barkley on Darden: “Meneptha is a skilled big man that has good defensive timing as he can alter shots. We’re excited about his potential and he should play a vital role for us this year.”
