About: Sutterfield returns to RSU for her senior season following a 2015 campaign where she made 18 appearances and three starts for the navy and red. The Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native posted a .231 batting average scoring five runs and recorded a perfect fielding percentage. She joined the Hillcats from Northern Oklahoma – Tonkawa, where she played two seasons for the Mavericks. Sutterfield was named to the 2014 all-region honorable mention team after making 57 appearances in the infield registering a .306 batting average, 31 RBI, and 23 runs scored. She tallied a .319 average in 52 games as a freshman in 2013 with six home runs, 32 RBI, and 32 runs scored. Sutterfield played her prep career at Broken Arrow High School. The daughter of John and Dolores Sutterfield, she said she chose RSU because "it is a great school with good athletic programs."
