About: Gamble comes to RSU for her final collegiate season following one season at NCAA Division II Washburn for Head Coach Ron McHenry. The Omaha, Nebraska native came off the bench in 25 games for the Ichabods averaging 1.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest during her junior campaign. She spent her first two college basketball seasons at Northeast Community College playing under Head Coach Matt Svehla. As a team captain and starter during her sophomore year, Gamble posting 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game helping the Hawks to a 26-4 record. She was named first-team all-conference after ranking seventh in the nation in free throw percentage and was an academic first-team all-conference selection in 2013-14. In Gamble's first season at NCC, the team finished 29-4 reaching the NJCAA Division I national tournament following a district championship. She is a 2012 graduate of Omaha Central High School, where she played for Head Coach Tom Lee as a four-year starter, winning a state championship as a senior. She was named all-state honorable mention each of her four years with the Eagles. The daughter of the late Rodney Gamble and Terri Murphy, she said she chose RSU because "it's a small town near loved ones with good education."
