Rogers Sate Falls to No. 4 Oklahoma Christian, 66-61

EDMOND, Okla. - No. 4 Oklahoma Christian was able to hold off the Hillcats at the Eagles' Nest in Edmond, 66-61, behind the sharp shooting of Jeff Crocker.

With just under a minute left in the game Matt Kellogg was able to connect on two free throws to put the Hillcats within five points of the Eagles. Then a thirty second stretch of missed free throws by Oklahoma Christian and turnovers by the Hillcats took place. Then Crocker was able to make the first of the double bonus free throws to stretch the No. 4 Eagles lead to six.

Lance Sullivan was able to connect on a three pointer from the right wing with 15 seconds remaining to put the Hillcats within three. The Hillcats sent Crocker to the line and he was able to knock down both free throws to give the Eagles a five point lead with 11 seconds remaining. Kellogg was unable to connect from behind the arc and Sylvester Spicer couldn't get the put back. The ball bounced off a Hillcat knee and the Eagles were able to inbound the pass and run out the clock.
