Edmond, Okla. - The Rogers State Women's Golf team and junior Jess Green won the team and individual titles at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational at Kicking Bird Golf Course.

The Hillcats picked up their second victory of the season, with their first coming in September, as the Hillcats won the 21
st Annual NSU Women's Fall Classic.

It is the first outright victory for the Hillcats since
Jess Whitting won the Hillcat Classic in March of 2018.
Marybeth Bellnap tied for the medalist honors at the 21
st Annual NSU Women's Fall Classic, but lost in the playoff.

How it Happened: After being the only team that shot under 300 yesterday, the Hillcats came back and shot a 304 in the final round to give them a final score of 603. Their score ended up tying Central Oklahoma for the lead.

The two teams went to into a playoff where the Hillcats came out victorious.

Key Players: Green ended up winning the invitational with a score of 144 after two rounds. Green was consistent on the course shooting a 72 in the first and second round. Green had five birdies and 32 pars, which led the invitational.

Grace Williams placed in the top five for the Hillcats finishing tied for fifth with a score of 149, shooting a 74 in the first round then a 75 in the second round. Williams had three birdies and 21 pars.

Raquel Flores tied for 20
th place in the invitational, shooting a 154 after two rounds. Flores shot a 76 in the first round, then a 78 in the second. She recorded four birdies and 19 pars.

Sydney Murray and
Marybeth Bellnap wrapped up the scorecard for the Hillcats with a score of 157. Murray shot a 78 the first day and a 79 the second. Bellnap shot a 77 and then an 80 to round out her tournament.

Up Next: The Hillcats will host their home tournament on March 16-17 at the Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma.
