HAYS, Kan. – Rogers State men's golf won the FHSU Tiger Classic with a one-stroke lead on the Tuesday.

After three rounds at the Par 70, 6,105-yard Smoky Hill Country Club, the Hillcats took the top spot in the tournament after turning a card of 866 (+26).

Luke Palmowski led RSU with a second place finish after shooting 214 (+4, 70, 77, 67) for the tournament. He had the low round of the day and the tournament with a 67 (-3) in the final round, racking up six birdies and an eagle in the round.

Aidan Gavey finished just behind in a three-way tie for third with a 215 (+5, 76, 71, 68).
Gonzalo Chaves finished in a tie for seventh with a card of 217 (+7, 72, 71, 74).
Daniel Robles finished in a four-way tie for 21st after shooting 224 (+14, 81, 73, 70).
Ty Nicar rounded out the group in a tie for 38th turning in a card of 228 (+18, 78, 77, 73).

Tyler Cornwell played as an individual and finished in a three-way tie for 50th with a 233 (+23, 75, 80, 78).

The Hillcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 25 as they return home to host The Tulsa Cup at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Okla.
