CARROLLTON, Texas. - The final round of the 2021 University of Central Missouri Southern Invitational was canceled Tuesday due to deteriorating weather conditions at the Indian Creek Golf Club.
With the final round canceled, the Hillcats will take fourth place in the season opener, a spot they held after the first and then second rounds of the tournament on Sunday and Monday.
Sydney Murray records the top finish for the Hillcats as she tied for tenth after rounds of 81 and 79.
Jessica Green and
Grace Williams finish in a tie for 17th overall. Green shot back-to-back rounds of 81 and Williams finished with an 83 on Sunday and matched Murray for the best round of the tournament for RSU with a 79 on Monday.
Marian Flores finishes in a tie for 23rd. Flores was tied for 12th along with Murray and Green after an 81 on day one, but the senior shot an 83 on day two to fall to 11 spots.
Freshman
Marelda Ayal will take 35th in her first collegiate tournament. Ayal shot rounds of 84 and 86.
