KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf senior Luke Palmowski was named the MIAA Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
 
At the Hardscrabble Invitational in Fort Smith, Ark., Palmowski won the individual title after shooting 203 for seven strokes under par in the three rounds, eight strokes ahead of second place. The Rotherham, England native sank a total of 14 birdies and an eagle in 54 holes, and shot the low round of the tournament with a 64 in the first round. He also led the Hillcats to a team victory in the tournament with a card of 852 (+12), 35 strokes ahead of second place.
 
RSU will be back in action on Monday, March 14 as they return home to host the Hillcat Classic at Bailey Ranch Golf Club.
