INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf are the leaders in the clubhouse after the first day of the MIAA Championship on Monday.
After 36 holes at the Par 72, 6,752-yard WinterStone Golf Course, the Hillcats sit atop the leaderboard after turning in a card of 580 (+4) on the day.
Aidan Gavey sits in a tie for first after shooting 143 (-1) in the two rounds. The senior sank six birdies on the day.
Daniel Robles is currently in a three-way tie for fourth with a card of 145 (+1). Luke Palmowski is right behind in a three-way tie for seventh with a 146 (+2). Ty Nicar and Gonzalo Chavez round out the group in a five-way tie for 18th after both shot 152 (+8) on the day.
The Hillcats will wrap up the tournament tomorrow with the first RSU group teeing off at 10:50 a.m.
