SANDESTIN, Fla. – Rogers State women's golf wrapped up competition at the Golfweek D2 Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
After three rounds at the Par 71, 5,802 yard Raven Golf Club, the Hillcats finished in second with a card of 878 (+26). In the final round, RSU shot 280 as a team to set the new team low round record, besting the 281 the Hillcats shot in the first round of the 2021 Tulsa Cup.
Lydia Sitorus led the Hillcats as she finished in a tie for second after shooting 214 (+1) for the tournament, five strokes behind the leader.
Lauren Anderson finished in a tie for seventh with a card of 219 (+6) which included shooting an outstanding 67 (-4) in the final round, just two strokes off the individual single round school record.
Marelda Ayal finished in a four-way tie for ninth with a 220 (+7).
Kristin Gudmundsdottir finished in 24th with a 226 (+13).
Brianna Maddux rounded out the squad in a group of six tied at 28th with a card of 230 (+17).
The Hillcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 23 as they host the 2023 edition of The Tulsa Cup at The Club at Forest Ridge in Tulsa, Okla.
