JOPLIN, Mo. – Rogers State women's golf completed the second day of competition at the MIAA Championship on Tuesday.
 
After 36 holes at the par 72, 5,800 yard Eagle Creek Golf Club, the Hillcats stayed in second place after turning in a card of 615 (+59).
 
Marelda Ayal leads the Hillcats in eighth place after shooting 156 (+12) over the two rounds. Raquel Flores is one stroke behind in a four-way tie for ninth with a card of 157 (+13). Jaelynn Unger sits in a tie for 20th with a 162 (+18). Lydia Sitorus is in a three-way tie for 22nd with a 163 (+19). Ellen Loving rounds out the group in a three-way tie for 25th with a 164 (+20).
 
The Hillcats will close out the tournament with the final round tomorrow. The first group is set to tee off at 11 a.m.
