KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its 2025-26 Men's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, and Rogers State was picked to finish tied for ninth with Missouri Western.
RSU secured 13 points in the poll. Pittsburg State was picked to repeat as the conference champion this season with 81 points and nine first-place votes. The Gorillas were followed by Northwest Missouri State (70 points) and Washburn (63 points). Missouri Southern, which was picked fourth, collected the only other first-place vote.
The Hillcats will open their indoor season at the Crimson and Gold Invitational on Dec. 5-6 in Pittsburg, Kansas. The meet at the Harvey Dean/Robert W. Plaster Center starts Friday, featuring the 5K races at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. They will begin their competition on Saturday with the mile event scheduled for 1:50 p.m.
