HUMBLE, Texas – Rogers State men's golf wrapped up the first day of competition at the Houston Classic on Monday to begin the spring portion of the schedule.
After 36 holes at the par 72, 6,967 yard Golf Club of Houston, the Hillcats sit in 16th place with a card of 621 (+45).
Kaden Armstrong leads RSU in a large group of 14 tied at 32nd after shooting 150 (+6) with an even-par 72 in the second round.
Tyler Collier sits one stroke behind in a group of six tied at 151 (+7).
Callum Brown sits in a tie for 72nd with a card of 158 (+14).
Jack Roche sits in four-way tie for 83rd after shooting 163 (+19).
Pedro Benjumea rounds out the squad in 89th with a 167 (+23).
The Hillcats will look to climb the leaderboard in the final round tomorrow. A shotgun start is set for 8 a.m.
