NEWTON, Kan. – The RSU men's golf team is in fifth place with a score of 595 (+19) after two rounds of the Newman Fall Invitational at the par-72, 6,951-yard Sand Creek Station golf course.
Minnesota Crookston leads the field with a score of 572 (-4), while Newman's 'A Team' is just one stroke behind in second place. Fort Hays State is in third at +14 and Northwest Oklahoma State holds fourth at +17.
Senior
Aiden Deng and freshman
Kobsak Phisitbuntoon are tied for 12th with scores of 147 (+3). Deng posted a strong finish with a 71 in the second round, while Phisitbuntoon added a 72.
Junior
Dylan Ros and sophomore
Bo Gentry (individual) finished with scores of 150 (+6) and are tied for 21st.
Sophomore
Callum Brown is in 29th with a score of 151 (+7), and senior
Tyler Collier is tied for 39th at 160 (+16). Freshman
Ben Field II (individual) recorded a score of 161 (+17), placing him in 41st.
RSU will conclude the Newman Fall Invitational tomorrow with the final round starting at 8:30 a.m.
