INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Rogers State men's basketball (16-8, 10-5 MIAA) was recognized in the first NCAA Regional Rankings released Wednesday. The rankings are presented in alphabetical order.
The Hillcats are among six programs from the MIAA recognized in the initial rankings, alongside Arkansas-Fort Smith, No. 25 Central Missouri, Fort Hays State, Missouri Western and No. 3 Washburn. Also included are Harding, No. 7 Oklahoma Baptist and No. 20 Ouachita Baptist from the GAC, along with St. Cloud State from the NSIC.
Starting Wednesday, Feb. 25, the NCAA will rank the top 10 teams in each region. Following the conclusion of the conference postseason tournaments on Sunday, March 8, the top eight teams in the Central Region will qualify for the 64-team NCAA Division II National Tournament.
