OWASSO, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf put together a solid showing to open the 11th Annual Hillcat Classic at Bailey Ranch Golf Club on Monday. RSU resides in third after two rounds of competition.
The Hillcats finished the day with a team scorecard of 581 (+5) to place themselves in third after 36 holes of competition. Southwestern Oklahoma State (-2) and Northwestern Oklahoma State (+4) hold the top spots with the final round still ahead.
Sophomore
Callum Brown is the top Hillcat individual, finishing with a two-round scorecard of 145 (+1) to finish the day tied for seventh. The Durham, England, started strong with a 69 (-3) in the first round, which was made up of four birdies. He capped off the day with a 76 (+4) in round two.
Aiden Deng is 13
th after carding 146 (+2). Notably, the senior notched eagles on hole one in both rounds. Sophomore
Miguel Mora and junior
Dylan Ros both tied for 14
th with scores of 147 (+3). Freshman
Kobsak Phisitbuntoon (+5) is tied for 20
