KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its academic awards for the 2026 softball season on Thursday.
Four Hillcats received recognition:
Mariah Belzer and
Saylor Brown were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, while
Harley Culie was tabbed as a MIAA Scholar Athlete after being named All-MIAA and finishing with a 3.50 or better GPA.
Raylin Morgan received the prestigious MIAA Excellence Award for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.
To be recognized on the league's Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.00 or above at the certifying institution and must have attended for at least two terms, excluding summer sessions.

These academic awards do not include first year student-athletes or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release separate academic awards for its 2025-26 newcomers at the end of June.
