About: Kirk is back on the Hill for her senior year following a 2014 campaign that saw her play in all 53 games during her first season at RSU. She drove in 14 runs and tallied a .948 fielding percentage. The Bixby, Oklahoma native came to the Hill after two seasons at Northern Oklahoma College playing for Head Coach Karie Linsenmyer. As a sophomore in 2013, she hit .315 after posting a .300 batting average as a freshman. Kirk played softball at Bixby High School under Head Coach Stan Irvin where she was named Academic All-State Honorable Mention and was honored with the Leadership Award. She helped her summer team to an eighth-place finish at the World Series and a third-place finish at the state tournament. The daughter of Keith and Vikki Kirk, she said she chose RSU because "it was a great choice academically and RSU has fantastic athletic programs, especially the softball program."
