Biography

About: May comes to the Hill to round out his career with the Hillcats. The senior joined RSU after spending one season at Erskine College (S.C.) where he played for Head Coach Mark Peelen. Prior to his time at EC, May played at Pratt Community College in Kansas where he averaged eight points, eight rebounds and 2.5 blocks. May graduated from 6A Lawrence Free State High School in Lawrence in 2010. As a senior, he tallied 10 points, 10 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game. He was named second team Kansas City Metro Area and was named third team homeschool all-American in 2009. The son of Mark and Tami May, Josh is the oldest of eight kids in his family. He said he chose RSU “because it was close to my family and offered a great education.”
