Biography

About: Seifried transferred to RSU from Mid-America Christian where he started 35 of 38 games played in 2013 with the Evangels. The Claremore, Okla., native helped the Zebras of Claremore High School and head coach Brent Payne earn a runner-up finish at the state tournament in 2012 posting a .381 batting average. Seifried hit 10 doubles, five triples, and three home runs while recording 45 RBI. As a senior, he was named all-state (large schools), first-team all-metro, and first-team all-district while earning ESPN Midlands Player of the Week accolades. He said he chose RSU "to be close to home."
