Summary

Biography

About: Young was the only player to start all 31 games for the Hillcats in 2007-08. He earned all-conference honorable mention honors after averaging 10 points and five rebounds during his sophomore season. The Houston native finished second on the team in steals and assists. Young scored a season-high 19 points in the Cats near upset of No. 1 Oklahoma City on 12/1/07. He played his freshman season at the University of Texas-San Antonio before transferring to RSU.

Williams on Young: “Eric is our best wing defender and rebounder. This year we hope Eric takes the role of trying to be more aggressive on the offensive end. If he can do that he could be a first team all conference player.”
