Biography

About: During his junior season, Anthony helped RSU to another NAIA World Series appearance. His best outing came when he held Ecclesia College scoreless Feb. 23. Anthony joined the Hillcats from Independence Community College after sitting out a year. In 2011, he finished the season with a 1-11 record with one save and a 2.12 ERA in 107 innings pitched as the Pirates ace. As the Pirates second starter in 2010, Anthony went 6-1 with a 2.87 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched. That same season he helped Independence to an at-large playoff bid where he started two games in the playoffs. Anthony said he chose RSU because “it's close to home and I like the program.”
