About: Burnett was named the conference player of the year and a second-team NJCAA All-American as a sophomore at Frank Phillips Community College in 2007-08. He averaged nearly 30 points per game and was named the NJCAA National Player of the Week three times. Burnett was also a first-team all-conference selection as a freshman at Florida Community College. He enrolled at RSU in January 2009 and has two years of eligibility remaining. Burnett said he chose RSU because “it’s a great school and of the player/coach relationship.”
 
Williams on Burnett: “Reggie is the best scorer that we have seen here at RSU. He can shoot the three, take it to the rim and he also has great mid-range game. If he maximizes his talents on both ends of the floor he will become one of the greatest to ever wear a Hillcat uniform.”
