Biography

About: Mayon redshirted his freshman season on the hill. He came to RSU following an succesful career at Allen Academy Prep
where he was coached by former University of Oklahoma head coach Dave Bliss. He averaged 18.5 points, 3.2 assists, 10.2
rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a senior. He was named MVP of the Texas state tournament, first team all-state, and third
team All-Brazos Area. Mayon said he chose RSU because “of the outstanding basketball program.”
