Biography

About: Sanders returns to RSU after being named team Runner of the Year last season after posting personal bests of 33:49 (10k), 26:23 (8k), 15:39 (5k) and 4:16 (1500m). Sanders redshirted his first season on the Hill in 2010 but proved to be an important piece in 2011.  In his senior year at Broken Arrow High School, he set a school record with a 19:16 in the 4 x 1 mile relay. He has also set times of 4:50 in the mile, 10:30 in the two mile, and 17:23 in the 5k. Sanders helped lead Broken Arrow High School to a State Championship in 2009, and was a 2nd team All-Conference selection in both 2008 and 2009.
