NORMAN, Okla. - Two members of the Rogers State Men's Golf team, Edwin Blomander and Luke Palmowski, were named to the Golf Coaches Association of America/Ping Division II All-Central Region Team this week, announced the association.
 
Blomander recorded his first individual collegiate win this season in the fall and was subsequently named the MIAA Athlete of the Week for the performance. Blomander also helped the Hillcats to a team win at the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational. He had one top five finish and four top 10 finishes during the season before it was canceled. Blomander also shot a season best 66 to lead the team.
 
Palmowski was also named the MIAA Athlete of the Week this season, earning the award after he placed third at the LCU Chap Classic. Palmowski was a part of the team that won the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational and the Hillcats never finished worse than second with him in the lineup. Palmowski recorded two top five finishes over the course of the season and never finished lower than 11^th. He had a season best round of 69 at the LCU Chap Classic.
 
Blomander and Palmowski are the second and third golfers in program history to be named to a GCAA/Ping All-Region Team. The first one was Hagen Barmasse in the 2016-17, who also received All-American honors that season.
