DEARBORN, Mich. – Rogers State men's golf sits in second place after the first round at the Motor City Invitational and National Preview on Sunday.
After 18 holes at the Par 72, 7,056-yard TPC of Michigan, the Hillcats are currently in second place after turning in a card of 284 (-4) on the day.
Gonzalo Chaves leads RSU in a three-way tie for third after shooting 68 (-4), with five birdies in the round.
Daniel Robles is next in a six-way tie for 10th with a 71 (-1). Aidan Gavey is in a four-way tie for 16th with a 72 (E). Luke Palmoski is in a group of 10 tied at 20th with a card of 73 (+1). Carson Stookey rounds out the group in 80th after shooting an 84 (+12).
The Hillcats will wrap up the tournament with the final round tomorrow.
