MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf wrapped up play on the first day of the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational on Monday.
After 36 holes at the Par 72, 6,876-yard Shangri-La Country Club, the Hillcats sit in a three-way tie for second place with a card of 583 (+7).
Aidan Gavey led RSU in a five-way tie for 7th with a two-round score of 143 (-1, 72, 71). He finished the day with three eagles and six birdies.
Daniel Robles was next in a group of six tied for 16th after shooting 146 (+2, 73, 73). Luke Palmowski finished in a five-way tie for 27th with a 148 (+4, 70, 78). Eliot-Han Monteremal finished in a group of seven tied at 39th with a card of 150 (+6, 76, 74). Gonzalo Chaves rounded out the group in a five-way tie for 62nd carding a 154 (+10, 72, 82).
The Hillcats will wrap up the tournament tomorrow with the final round.
