KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Aidan Gavey has been named the MIAA Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
 
The Caledonia, Ontario native was the top MIAA player and the led the Hillcats to their seventh-straight tournament win at The Mule this week after finishing in second place with a 56-hole total of 206 (-4). The senior sank 13 birdies in the tournament and lead the field of 108 golfers in par three scoring.
 
With the regular season complete, the Hillcats will now turn their attention to the MIAA Conference Championships in Independence, Mo. beginning on Monday, April 18th at the Winterstone Golf Club.
