CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Rogers State women's golf checked in at No. 23 in the latest Mizuno Women's Golf Coaches Association Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Friday.
 
The Hillcats are the second highest ranked MIAA team in the poll, behind of Central Missouri (No. 21) and ahead of Nebraska-Kearney, Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma who all received votes. They are also the third highest ranked team in the Central Region, behind Henderson State (No. 3) and UCM and are ahead of Arkansas Tech who received votes.
 
RSU opened the 2022-23 season with a third place finish at the NSU Golf Classic at the Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Catoosa, Okla. Lydia Sitorus led the team in a four-way tie for fourth place after shooting a 146 (+6) over two rounds.
 
The Hillcats will return to action on Monday, Sept. 26 as they travel to Hays, Kan. to compete in the FHSU Tiger Classic at Smoky Hills Country Club.
