NEW ORLEANS – Rogers State men's and women's track and field finished the indoor season ranked in the top 25 nationally in three events in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association #EventSquad Team Rankings.
 
The Hillcat women checked in at No. 19 in the women's 5,000m event, down three spots from last week, with a total team time of 1:11:23 and an average time of 17:50.87. They remained the third highest of four MIAA teams ranked in the top 25 in the event behind No. 13 Fort Hays State and No. 15 Pittsburg State and ahead of No. 21 Nebraska-Kearney.
 
They also ranked No. 24, down two spots from last week, in the mile with a total team time of 20:14.2 and an average time of 5:03.55. RSU are also the third highest of four MIAA teams ranked in the top 25 in this event as well behind No. 9 Northwest Missouri, No. 14 Pittsburg State and ahead of No. 25 Nebraska-Kearney
 
The Hillcat men checked in at No. 25, down four spots from last week, in the men's 800m event with a total team time of 7:40.17 and an average time of 1:55.04. They are one of four MIAA teams ranked in the top 25 behind No. 1 Fort Hays State, No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney and No. 19 Northwest Missouri.
 
RSU will begin the outdoor season on Saturday, March 11 as they travel to Conway, Ark. to compete in the Hendrix Alumni Open.
