NEW ORLEANS -Â Rogers State men's and women's track and field rank in the top 25 nationally in two events in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Indoor #EventSquad Team Rankings.

The Hillcats currently rank ninh in the women's 5,000 meter with a total team time of 1:10:04 and an average time of 17:30.90. They are the highest ranked MIAA team in the top 25, ahead of No. 13 Pittsburg State, No. 22 Missouri Southern and No. 23 Fort Hays State.Â
Jordan Wallace holds the 47th fastest time in nation finishing in 17:15.62 at the Crimson & Gold Invitational.Â
Ashley Riggenbach ran a 17:27.52 at the Crimson & Gold Invitational.Â
Katie Byrd ran a 17:39.99 at the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic, whileÂ
Cadence Cordova ran a 17:40.48 at the same meet.

On the men's side, RSU ranks 22nd in the men's 800 meter with a total team time of 7:36.30 and an average time of 1:54.08. The Hillcats are one of four MIAA teams ranked in the top 25, behind No. 3 Pittsburg State, No. 4 Northwest Missouri and No. 7 Nebraska Kearney.Â
Ian Conder broke his own school record earlier this season, finishing in 1:52.86 at the Rumble in the Jungle.Â
Isaac Conder ran a 1:52.93 at the Pittsburg State Invitational.Â
DeShawn Crowe ran a 1:54.63 at the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic withÂ

With the indoor regular season complete, the Hillcats will now train and prepare for the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships beginning on Friday, Feb. 28 in Maryville, Mo.
