KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) has awarded its weekly women's golf honors, naming senior Lauren Anderson as co-golfer of the week for the first time in her career. She is the first Hillcat to receive this recognition since Lou Fourdan on Oct. 22, 2025.

Anderson's strong performance propelled Rogers State to its third consecutive title at the NSU Women's Classic at Page Belcher Golf Course – Stone Creek in Tulsa. She finished tied for second, marking her best individual result as a Hillcat in the first tournament of her senior season. The Tontitown, Arkansas, native shot a 70 (-1) in the second round, featuring two birdies and 15 pars, bringing her tournament total to 145 (+3). Her one-under-par score in the second round was the best among all players on Tuesday.
 
Washburn's Susana Granados, who placed second at the MSSU fall invite with the same two-round score as Anderson, was the other recipient of the weekly honor.
 
The Hillcats will return to action on Sept. 21-22 at the MIAA Conference Preview at Terradyne CC in Andover, Kansas.
