Biography

About: Santos joins the Hillcats for his senior season following one year at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M playing for Head Coach Dustin Glover in 2012-13. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native ranked third in the NJCAA in rebounding and field-goal percentage at 12.2 and 68.8 percent, respectively, earning NJCAA All-America Honorable Mention honors. Santos also was named a First Team All-Region 2 and All-Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference selection for the Golden Norsemen. He set a school record with 26 double-doubles in 32 games played while averaging 14.3 points per game. The son of Ana Duarte and Waleir Brito, he said he chose RSU because "it was the best offer that I had and I also liked the coaching staff."
