Biography

About: Owen returns to RSU after redshirting his first season in 2015 after coming to the Hill from Richardson High School. In 2013, the Dallas, Texas native was named a first-team all-district pitcher for the Eagles under the guidance of Head Coach Mike Tovar posting a 4-1 record with a 2.40 earned run average. Owen struck out 83 batters in 67 innings and earned all-tournament team recognition at the Yellow Rose Tournament. The son of Todd and Kirsten Owen, he said he chose RSU "to play baseball and get a good education."
